Ben: Hello, Eddie. Have a cigarette.

Jenny: It’s on the shelf.
Ben: How did you spend your holiday, Eddie?
Eddie: I went to America with a friend.
Everybody: Well!
Ellen: We’re all jealous.
Ben: Was it expensive ?
Eddie: Yes. Very. I’ve spent everything.
Jenny: Haven’t you any money left?
Eddie: Yes, Jenny. Ten pence!

ADELE: Hi, Emma! Hi, Ben! Hello, Emily! Hello; Eddie! в обеих фразах в каждой синтагме high fall до середины, а в финале fall rise.

3) BEN: How did you spend your holiday, Edele?

Ben: How did you spend your holiday, Eddie? в обеих сначала mid fall, потом low rise, шкала ровная.

4) Eddie: I went to America with a friend.

ADELE: I went to South America with my best friend… в обеих mid fall на America, в первой mid fall на friend, во второй - на best.

5) Everybody: Well!

EVERYBODY: Well! в обеих rise fall

6) Ellen: We’re all jealous. - mid fall.

EMMA: We're all jealous. - fall rise.

7) Ben: Was it expensive ? - mid rise

EDDIE: Was it expensive? - high fall rise.
