Listening Task 14

It is generally thought that an accident is the result of somebody's error or neglect. This tragic incident occurred in spite of Jaeger being a famous balloonist with a great deal of experience and expertise. As a fellow-balloonist, Gerry, who tells the story, is well aware of the skill necessary to inflate a balloon without any help. It is particularly tragic that nobody will ever know exactly what happened.
