Exercise 3

When means "at the time that". We use it when we think that something is definitely going to happen (e.g. "When the door opens, I'll go in." This means that I am certain that the door is going to open).

If means "perhaps it is going to happen, perhaps it is not; on condition that it does happen" (e.g. "If the door opens, I'll go in." This means that I am not certain that the door is going to open, but perhaps it will, and then I'll go in.).

Put if/when in the correct places below:
