Hello, Vladimir!

How are you? How is your weekend going? What are your plans for the next one?

Vladimir LopatinVladimir Lopatin, 2017/03/19 17:26

It's good to hear from you, Vitali.
The things are so far so good with me.
My weekend is going fine - I'm doing my English.
My plans for the next weekend are to prepare for the forthcoming trial.
How are you finishing your weekend?
What are your plans for the next weekend?

Vitali SolomeinVitali Solomein, 2017/03/21 14:02

My weekend finished well. I visited old friends of mine and spent a good time having a cup of tea with them. Next weekend I'm going to visit my parents. They live in a countryside one hundred kilometres away from Ekb and the travel will take all weekend. Of course, it's not a strict plan and it might be changed. (e.g. if they will be not in the mood to see me there :) Do you travel somewhere at weekends? What is the “forthcoming trial”? Sounds very dramatically… Are you going to pass any English exam soon?

The “forthcoming trial” is the first instance court.
I spend my weekend at home, because I have a very busy week - boxing, running, work, courts, my site construction.
Why does it take so long to reach your parents if they live a hundred kilometers away from Yekaterinburg?

Thank you. I see what you mean.

Obviously, you are quite a busy person and have a lot of work and cares during the weekdays. What kind of relaxation do you prefer at your weekends (e.g. reading, cooking, watching TV or internet surfing)?

Probably, I said the phrase in a wrong way. It doesn't take all weekend to get their house and came back, but I usually try to help them with their housekeeping during the visit and so on.

You are right, I am busy up to the limit on weekdays, so my weekends are busy up to the limit too but with other activities - sports, English, speech training.
As far as watching TV is concerned, I do not watch TV - I even have no TV-set at home.
Have your parents large housekeeping?
